PresentBreath Privacy Policy

PresentBreath is a breathing meditation and relaxation app. We respect your privacy and strive for simplicity and transparency: PresentBreath does not display ads, does not include third-party tracking SDKs, and does not sell your personal information.
PresentBreath provides breathing exercises, relaxation, and mindfulness support. It does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment advice, or emergency assistance. If you have physical or mental health concerns, please consult a qualified medical professional.
Information We Collect and Store
PresentBreath stores the following information locally on your device to function properly and remember your preferences:
- User Preferences — background image selection, timer durations for each mode, switch states, and other app settings.
- Meditation Records — daily accumulated meditation duration (stored as date and seconds) and total session count, used to display your practice history on the calendar.
- Onboarding State — whether you have seen first-use hints, to avoid showing them again.
All of the above is stored locally on your device via the system's UserDefaults.
iCloud Sync
PresentBreath uses Apple's iCloud Key-Value Storage to sync your meditation history across your devices. The synced data consists solely of daily meditation durations (dates and seconds) and does not include any personally identifiable information. This data is transmitted and stored through Apple's iCloud infrastructure and is protected by Apple's privacy policy.
You can disable iCloud sync for this app in Settings → Apple ID → iCloud.
Photo Library Access
When you tap the save icon on the meditation completion page, the app saves a meditation summary card as an image to your system photo library. This requires your photo library write permission. The app only writes when you actively trigger it and does not read or scan other content in your photo library.
Audio and Haptics
PresentBreath uses the device's audio playback (AVFoundation) for background music and breathing guidance sounds, and the haptic engine (CoreHaptics) for vibration feedback. These features run entirely on your device and do not involve any data collection.
Tracking and Advertising
PresentBreath does not track you across apps or websites. The app does not use advertising identifiers (IDFA), does not include third-party advertising SDKs, and does not include any analytics or statistics SDKs.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third parties. Other than the iCloud sync described above, the app does not transmit your data to any external servers.
Data Deletion
You can delete all locally stored data at any time by removing the app from your device. To also clear meditation records synced to iCloud, go to Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Manage Storage.
Children
PresentBreath is not directed to children for the purpose of collecting data, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the effective date above.
